I am passionate about sharing my love of music to those around me. Music has been a lifelong pursuit and having Musika as part of my journey is a pleasure. In 2016, I graduated from The Juilliard School with a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance. Performing on stage in different places and getting to know people from all walks of life have been some of my greatest life experiences. Extending my experiences to Musika and teaching has become a central focus of my life that I am honored and excited to be part of.
My lessons are engaging and versatile. Depending on the student's level, I will tailor each lesson to the individual and create a positive learning environment. For beginning students, I generally begin with my own exercises and activities along with Kummer Etudes for cello to help establish stable fundamental basics. For intermediate and advanced students, I introduce the vast, rich solo repertoire and help build on it while continuing to address improvements and students' interests. Regardless of age and level, enjoying cello lessons and music in and of itself are the most important things.
The most gratifying moments as a teacher is when I see my students' passion for music grows. Keeping in mind that all students are unique individuals, I will always personalize my teaching plans and goals for each student. Teaching the student not only how to play music, but also practice efficiently and productively is also a way for me to guide my students. Getting to know my students and finding the areas of interests in music for each one is one of my goals as well as helping them develop into artists.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
