I am a passionate and motivated lesson instructor who enjoys working with anybody who is dedicated and who is ready to work towards accomplishing their musical goals.
My lesson teaching experience dates back to 2010, as I began mentoring beginner/intermediate level Violinists/Violists, and have been consistently mentoring students for the last 7 years. I encourage regular practice on a consistent schedule as it is one of my key points I like to emphasize to my students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for music. My students are encouraged to maintain a practice schedule so they can feel fantastic about their accomplishments and stay motivated to learn. I am always looking for new students of ages 8 and above.
For beginning students/adults: I typically start with the Essential Elements for Strings Books. Once the student and I have seen positive progression to understanding the fundamentals of playing an instrument and music, I will then begin to introduce repertoire from various repertoire sheet music instrumental books appropriate to their musical level. For intermediate level students/adults: I typically work with the various technique instrumental books along with the student's material if they have any. Besides using my intermediate level methods, I also select repertoire appropriate to their musical level.
It is important to me to see each of my students progress in a positive way and develop a passion for music. At each lesson, I work with the student to set realistic goals and a pathway for success. It is known that by watching my students accomplish their musical goals, it also helps the student to achieve their desire to progress and also makes them want to continue learning. I tailor my instruction to the students' wants and needs while also making sure they retrieve and fully understand the fundamentals to making music.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
