BM, Berklee College of Music, Professional Music
As a classically trained vocalist and graduate of Berklee College of Music, I specialize in utilizing contemporary repertoire as a vehicle for teaching solid technique. Depending on the individual goals of the student, lessons can consist of any combination of the following: technique, music theory, sight reading, vocal workouts, diction, interpretation, stage presence, leading a band, etc.
My teaching experience dates back to my years in high school as an assistant teacher at a local preschool music education facility. Upon my graduation from Berklee, I began accepting private students. I have taught everything from beginners to professional performers, children to adults, and private lessons to vocal workshops. I am a big believer that anyone can learn to sing, and I love helping students embrace and develop their unique voice.
For all students, I utilize traditional and contemporary warm up routines. Repertoire selection is the student's choice, though I provide guidance.
My teaching style is tailored specifically to each individual student. Since vocal students come to me with such a wide range of goals in comparison to other instruments, I let each student's goals guide me as I set goals throughout our time together.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
