I would like to bring an intuitive and 360 degree perspective to teaching by surrounding the student with all the fundemental musical tools he/she might need. I want to teach music the same way I learned it, not just for playing music, but also a training for brain dexterity, having a musical background as a colorful way of seeing life: musical perspectives can applied to any endevaors in other areas of life, such as business, philanthropy and sciences.
For beginner students, by starting from rhythmic concepts, no matter which instrument student plays, they will have a sense of rhythm, groove and time, which is the most important thing in music. Even if you play the wrong notes in the right time, it will sound ok, but the opposite is not possible. From there, I wil teach the student a fundemental understanding of melody, both by ear exercise and sight reading. And then we will build on harmony and we can move to learn about playing in the styles the student is interested in. For upper level students we can customize depending on what specific styles they are looking to learn.
I like by teaching everything simple and plain: even making the most complex concepts really simple, by making it intuitive. The student will learn everything by playing songs, that way, even if we are learning about the most complex concepts, it will be fun and they probably won't even realize how far they come!

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
OkAre you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
