Im a professional musician who always puts a 100% in everything that I do. whether its performing live, recording, teaching or just jamming; as long as it is music related, Im guaranteed to have a good time and do my best to be as helpful as possible on any given situation. Im a B.A. in music and a certified engineer.
Ive been teaching for more than 7 years now, and performing ever since I can remember. On the teaching field, Ive taught students from all ages and levels; Ive worked as a private teacher and in numerous schools as well. As long as the student wants to learn and become better, theres always a way in which we can work it out for a lesson to be very productive and enjoyable at the same time. As a performer ive been part of many different projects ranging from Jazz and blues ensembles, to hard rock an heavy metal proyects; as a musician you should always try to be open to all the possibilities cause theres always something valuable to learn in every kind of music.
I think the best way to motivate students, is by letting them choose some of the music on which their about to start working on. Any given song will be a great starting point. Thru that single song; we can get to know the students personal taste, level, goals and needs on a more personalized level, and take it from there to develop a working plan with predetermined goals and deadlines, specifically designed for that students needs.
The way a lesson goes can be very different from one student to another; but there are always specific tools, rules and proper ways of doing things that need to be learned along the way, regardless of the style and level. One of the beautiful things about music is that no matter how advanced a student is, there will always be something new to learn, something that still needs to be polished, or a new goal to achieve.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
