When they are getting the basics, I will introduce music of their favorite styles into lessons and we will work on technique seperately and through these repertoire selections. In the first lesson, I listen very carefully to what the student wants to achieve and how they feel about the way they sing. Then, I begin my strategy of how to devise a skills building foundation based on their needs. After a few exercises, I can understand how quickly they can adapt and try new techniques. I began teaching private lessons since last 3 years. I encourage everyone to get basic classical training first to have perfect pitch. I encourage my students to enter competition, recitals and also give music exams. I also encourage them to improvise on the idea or on the song.
