I graduated with a degree in both Music and Educational Psychology from University of Rochester with additional studies at Eastman School of Music to hone my performance skills. My exposure to the master educators of these institutions has given me hands-on experience with the most effective teachings and practices of music education. I have been teaching private and group lessons for saxophone and ukulele in Los Angeles area for the past year. My students are encouraged to find thier own passion in music and bring those interests to my lessons. I enjoy teaching students of all ages, as no one is too old!

By using my own educational experience, as well as drawing from today’s trends in teaching, I am able to cater my lessons to your needs. You’ll develop fundamental skills, in addition to becoming a better musician by improving your sight reading, ear training, and knowledge of theory. I have an extremely thorough understanding of music theory, and am happy to incorporate as much or as little of that as the student's interest dictates, nevertheless maintaining the minimal amount of theory necessary to get the most out of learning music and instrument. I am excited to teach any genre you’re interested in, whether it be jazz, blues, rock, hiphop, or classical. I am flexible and open to your needs as a student!
