I am a pssionate and motivated cello and drum instructor who has a great desire to share my love of music. I grew up in Riverside county then moved to Northridge when I was 18 to pursue a degree in music at Cal State Northridge. I have been studying music here for the past 4 years with an emphasis on cello performance. I have been working as a recording artist for films and bands for the past few years in the LA area. I have also been working as a musical performer. I have played at many venues including the House of Blues, The Roxy, The Whiskey a Go Go, etc.
I have been teaching private lessons on and off for about 3 years now.
I teach all the traditional aspects of music such as how to read music and basic theory. In addition, I believe that tru musicians should be able to play music on the spot wherever they are. That being said I also teach how to improvise and song write!
My teaching style is fun and laidback. I encourage my students by letting them learn what they want and setting goals and deadlines for them to improve at their full potential.
