Isaac Winland holds a degree in Music Performance from Marshall University, and now is attending the University of Akron as a graduate assistant.
Winland has performed with the top ensembles at Marshall University and the University of Akron. Outside of school, he has performed in the River Cities Jazz Ensemble, Tommy Money Big Band, Huntington Outdoor Theater, Big Planet Soul, and with many other groups and ensembles. He also teaches private trumpet and piano lessons.Currently Isaac is working with several groups in northern Ohio.
Piano - I use the Afred Piano Series of Books. Both for Children and Adults
Guitar - I like to use music and other materials that I have made for students
Trumpet - I like to use what the school uses for beginning students. I also have developed a system for older students
I goal as a teacher is to make students love what they are doing. I have a very laid back style of teaching, but with that said I try to push student to do their best and enjoy what they have accoplished.
