During my college time I discovered my passion for the singing technique of the human voice, and a talent for teaching. I solely trained in Europe and took classes from vocalists like, Katarina Lange-Frohberg, Sigfried Lorenz and Christiane Bergold.I have moved to the United States in 1996 and have been working in the education and performance field of musical theater. In 2000 I launched my own vocal studio, Mr. Gisbert's Voice Studio.
EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching voice for more than 25 years, even during college time, classmates of mine aproached me to help them in their vocal training. the focus in my lessons is the vocal technique. I find the technique essential for both, the protection of your instrument and most of all to control all elements of how you want your voice to sound.
METHODS USED
My student, no matter what age, starts with light vocalizing, lip trills, humming etc. for young students I usually pick a light song and work on basics using the song as an exercise. My older students have to work a little more, exercising scales, monitoring placement, support, palette work. A song is picked by me and the student together.
LESSON STYLE
I usually build the lesson goals individually with each student by getting to know each other. One basic goal in all lessons though is to develope passion for music and for the human voice as a music instrument.

He really cares about his students and tries hard to convey as much knowledge and proper technique as he can in each lesson.
