I am a very diverse and passionate instructor. I've dedicated my life to music as well as working with students and artist who are on a journey of perfecting their abilities. I've performed and traveled around the world with the renowned Boys Choir of Harlem for many years, giving me the opportunity to work with and be mentored by some of the greatest musicians in the world. I have a diverse background in classical, jazz, spirituals, pop and gospel, which have lead to performances with the New York Philharmonic, Boston Philharmonic, Shania Twain, The Backstreet Boys, Jewel and Kanye West just to name a few.
I have experience in vocal coaching, original composition and vocal production. My experience and abilities are to get students and aspiring professionals ready for the world. If you want to go mainstream and prepare for American Idol, X Factor or any other major competition I am the professional to get you there. I have worked with many superstars of today, and I would love to work with the superstars of tomorrow!
For beginning students, I always equip them with the basic knowledge of understanding music through music theory. It is essential in the beginning stages students learn these basic methods in order to enhance their abilities effectively. For more experience students my goal is to always perfect the specific solo repertoire through technique, approach and style.
My teaching style is very encouraging. I create an atmosphere for success by encouraging and acknowledging success and or growth. My ultimate goal is to evoke passion in students, because with passion they perform with love, and with love they become great!
