I love to work with students. I‘m a composer, pianist, conductor, and certificated teacher (in my country). I have been playing piano for 23 years, and have been playing flute for 17 years. I am familiar with music theories and traditional music history from the ancient and medieval to the twenty-first century in details as any other professional composer, so if you are curious to listen to a story or even gossip of someone like Bach, Haydn or Mozart, I can tell you one sometimes. I have been playing the piano for 13 years and have been teaching children and adults for the past 7 years. I teach students of almost all levels proper technique, how to read music (efficiently), practical theory and history so that students can understand what the composer was doing and how to really listen to what they are playing. I am an experienced pop, electronic and Film music keyboardist. I work as a DJ as well and I have my own music production studio for the past 5 years. Read More

My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 8 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in Cincinnati for the last 2 years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I've also found that a combination of classical and modern music can go a long way in helping students enjoy the piano and motivate them to practice and continue to learn. Read More

Through music, I have participated in multiple community service opportunities, I was able to perform in a music video, I traveled to Ireland on a concert tour, and I performed for a crowd of 2,000 people at one of the nation's largest Irish Festivals in Dublin, Ohio. Instruments: Piano Violin Viola
For violin and viola lessons, I start my beginning students off with the violin/viola instrument hold as well as the bow hold. Once one has gotten the feel for holding the instrument as well as the bow, I teach the student the open strings of the instrument, followed by a one octave scale, with basic note reading exercises. After that, I begin the student on the Suzuki method. For piano students, I start by teaching beginning students three notes in treble clef (right hand) and bass clef (left hand). Read More

I also was a music theory tutor for 3 years employed through the Universitys work-study program. During my undergrad I also started teaching individual voice lessons. Through the my Master's degree at CCM I kept a small private studio of piano and voice students. I am now up to 26 students and work full time teaching and performing. I value a life full of performing and teaching, both equally important to fulfillment in my professional life. Read More
