There are books for children level, as well as adult books, which may be accompanied by a workbook and a recital book. A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, I began playing piano at the age of 5. Throughout my childhood I took private lessons in piano and voice. I have a Bachelor of Music degree from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC and a Master of Music degree from USC, where I studied under pianists Marina Lomazov and Joseph Rackers. My work with students of all ages spans far beyond teaching, having worked for two summers as a staff collaborative pianist at Interlochen Center for the Arts in northern Michigan and playing for numerous children's masses and concerts.
