Instruments: Drums Music
I have 5 years of teaching experience, which began in high school as I taught younger students joining the drum line. At the same time, I taught drum set at a music and event venue that held lessons during the day, as well as independently at my old home studio. I typically teach students from the ages of 6 through 12, however I have experience teaching teens and adults as well. It's never too late to start learning! Read More

I started teaching guitar in High School in 2009, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 8 years. I took private lessons for 7 years from four different guitar instructors, so I know what works and what doesn't. My number one focus as a teacher is keeping my students engaged, and doing my best to ignite their passion for the instrument of guitar. I start with teaching proper technique, form, and posture, as well as the basic chord shapes and strumming patterns, and from there I teach songs that both put these new techniques into practice and adhere to the student's musical interests. I began teaching private lessons during college but I have always shown people how to play instruments my entire career. I have always had a knack for both learning music and teaching it. One thing my students would say about me is that I am patient. Everyone learns in a different way and there is not one way to teach someone to play a song or read a sheet. Initially I learned by ear but my journey has lead me to advance my playing through non traditional routes such as learning from others along the way, reading sheet music and watching lessons online. When teaching children, I make sure to take advantage of their neuroplasticity by mastering the basics of rhythm, sight-reading and phrasing, all while making it fun and intuitive. The objective here is to give the child the ability to use musicality as an expressive resource, which will improve the child's musical cognition but also his speech and math skills -- I speak from personal experience, as I started taking music lessons when I was five and now I speak five languages, besides never having difficulties with math. Instruments: Trumpet French Horn
For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level. These are some of my approaches and I also like to reach on how to play by ear. Read More
Instruments: Violin Viola Music
I love teaching the violin!!, my emphasys is in the real true and with love every thing. There are many ways to teach an instrument, one of them is from the perspective of visual memory, or I know, there are teachers who demonstrate first and then the student tries to imitate what he hears and sees There are also others who speak and ask for what they want without demonstrating anything, because obviously they are no longer at the level playing or because they have a condition in their hands or fingers, and they get things by speaking, making themselves understood by the word. Instruments: Piano Voice Keyboard
I have been playing the piano for the past 13 years of my life. I first studied with Mrs. Willyne Foster of Middle Georgia College for 3 years and then with Dr. Larry Scully of Valdosta State University for 5 years. I have been teaching piano lessons for about the past 3 years of my life to students in the local communities. I have 10 years of a classical piano background and 3 years of modern/jazz piano.
