While studying music at Umass Lowell, I taught for two years at the local music store, University Music. I began teaching over the summer of 2010. While attending Berklee, I had countless one-on-one and small group sessions with fellow drummers where we would bounce ideas off one another and give each other "mini lessons," breaking down specific grooves and licks. In October, 2014, I led an hour-long master class for other Berklee percussion students about advanced polyrhythmic concepts and applications. My students were often times older than me so I was forced to adapt fast and develop lesson plans that might not be "standard".
