Instruments: Voice Drums
Teaching music has always been my number one passion and lifetime goal. Playing a musical instrument (including voice) is empowering and enriches the soul. I enjoy teaching all levels and welcome beginners with no previous musical training. Practicing is the most important regimen a student must learn and while it requires dedication and hard work, practicing your instrument should always be a pleasant and satisfying experience. A good practice schedule includes a warm up, technical exercises and exploring stylistic repertoire the student is interested in performing. Read More

Music is the world’s universal language and I believe everyone should be able to enjoy it. I graduated from North Middlesex Regional Highschool in 2010, shortly thereafter, I jumped into the music industry by playing shows across the country, doing session and fill-in work for other musicians, and expanding my horizons. Along the way, I’ve taken lessons from greats like Mike Mangini(Extreme, Steve Vai, and Dream Theater) and Thomas Pridgen(The Mars Volta, Destiny’s Child, etc.) In 2016, I joined Philadelphia based Progressive Metal band, Kaonashi. My teaching style is much different than most schools. I have taken lessons my whole entire life and I decided to make a change. Parents will recieve a professional audio recoding of each lesson so they can hear what their child is working on. We offer recitals every month so student can showcase their talents to family and friends. This is crucial for students to perform so they can understand and feel the satisaction of performing music. Instruments: Piano Guitar Drums Bass Guitar French Horn
I began teaching as soon as I could. My dad held piano lessons out of our house and inspired me to teach guitar (the only instrument my dad wasn't terribly good at). I also taught trumpet, French horn and piano throughout high school. When I got to college, no one at Berklee really needed lessons in instruments anymore, however, I spent a lot of time tutoring kids in Music Theory, Arranging and other more technical aspects of music. I like to start my lessons with basic introduction to the guitar as an instrument and its components. String names, how to tune, and how to change your strings are included. Scales improve finger dexterity and teach the students about moving up and down the fretboard of a guitar. Learning basic chords is crucial for learning most modern day music. (unless it's avant garde, or experimental) We will go through basic chords one by one and chord structures. Read More
Instruments: Drums
My teaching style is very simple. We will begin by finding the interests of the student. Then we’ll identify what they like about the instrument and their basic knowledge. Once that is done, we’ll begin experimenting with different generes. And finally, we’ll create a plan that will allow them the chance to grow musically and fundamentally on the drums. This in total, will give myself and the student(s) the chance to see how their minds work as far as being able to give different tastes and feels of rhythm, on their instrument. Read More

There are certain books I recommend depending on the students desires and skill level. I have a lot of excerpts from books that I can give to my students to use in our lessons and their own practice time. I like to include a brief write-up of what we covered in our lesson, and what the student should practice before our next lesson. This keeps the student on track and relieves stress about remembering everything we talked about. Read More
