I have been professionally playing drums for almost 15 years and teaching professionally for 10. I have toured the country opening up for major label bands and artists. I have played drums for numerous bands and artists including Grammy winning and nominated artists for Audiomack's Trap Symphony. I have also played drums for a nationally aired commercial for Champagne. I currently teach a number of students from ages 7-25, and I teach all levels from beginner to advanced. Read More

I have over 10 years experience teaching drums and music production, which I began after moving to New York around 2010. I like to teach my students based on their needs, depending on age and speed of learning. I am very big in teaching deep fundamentals, such as snare drum rudiments and different drum grooves. My musical background originally consisted of classic rock and blues music. I then wanted to expand my pallet of music while attending Hunter College for my Bachelors of Music with a concentration in Jazz Performance, therefore, I began studying Jazz, Funk, and Latin music. 
This consisted of joining the college Big Band and many small Jazz and Contemporary music groups gaining much experience. I've had many opportunities to learn from some of the greatest musicians in the world and I am excited to share that knowledge with my students. Read More

Younger students require more stock information and techniques such as Essential Elements, Alfred's drum book, or basic Fender guitar method for example. Adults, however, can take a more personal approach. Using an array of adult methods, or simply just finding books with your favorite songs seem to work the best when helping adult students learn. The pace of lessons is up to the student. I will guide each student towards their goal. There is nothing I love more than the moment a student has a musical epiphany. That "I get it!" moment. Music is hard. Learning an instrument takes time and practice. It's important to remember why we do it. I am a Latin Jazz vibraphonist and popular percussionist with a background in classical percussion. I also hold a degree from Berklee College of Music, where I have spent the last four years studying performance and production. Most recently I produced and lead a group based in New York and Boston. I performed in the Martinique Jazz and Ecuador Jazz festival I studied in a classical conservatory for 8 years and had the opportunity to assist to Interlochen Center for The arts and also studied cuban percussion in La Havana - Cuba at the age of 15.
