I use standard method books, along with personal sheets of exercises I have developed through the years. I publish my own solo books with accompaniments, which I also use. These books are primarily classical pieces, but I also use digital accompaniments for jazz and popular music. Theory and ear training are also part of my lessons. I normally use the Standard of Excellence method books for most of my students; however, I am open minded to adjusting to each individual student's musical needs, whether it be Jazz, Classical, or whatever style music the student is focusing on. For Drummers, I prefer the Haskell Harr Method, or the Buddy Rich Method Book, as well as the Breeze Easy Method Book. Currently, my teaching experience involves substituting for a drum class in one of the New York City boroughs, and assisting musicians or other campers when needed at Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts when I worked there as a Music Staff Intern.
